PROFILE

I am an ambitious and self-motivated yachtsman with over 15 years full time experience on both charter and private yachts.  I relish in all aspects of senior level yacht life and believe in leading by example.  By working with my crew I engage dedicated yacht teams to service owners, guests and vessels to the highest degree.

From a young age I was brought up on the water racing dinghies and small yachts.  As a teenager I took charge of a portion of the River Thames taking ownership of river boat cruises to support summer month activities.  From there followed a University degree in marine management to pave the way for a natural professional career on the waters.  I proudly started my journey to captain as a wide eyed and hardworking deckhand.  Through tenacity, determination and a love of the ocean I have aspired to, and achieved, my career goal of captain. However, I do not rest on my achievements and I continuously strive to improve in all aspects of my professional life.  I relish in complexities and challenges.  I strive to ensure that only the utmost quality will do as I myself only consider excellence as acceptable.

When not at work I enjoy keeping fit as an avid distance runner and keen cyclist. Down time is spent with my family back in the UK enjoying fine wine, good food, fresh air and restoration of classic British cars, motorcycles and wooden sailing boats.
